INDIAN FORD CAMPGROUND AND MAKING NEW FRIENDS!

We've welcomed the summer in with phones ringing and trailers booking up almost faster than we know to do with!!  We trailered two out to beautiful Indian Ford Campground outside of Sisters, Oregon today.  New, happy clients, sun shining down and trailers all set for another camping adventure.  Life is good.

SET UP AND READY FOR GUESTS AT SKY HAWK RANCH

Our thanks go out to Sky Hawk Ranch for the invitation to set up and make available our Cowgirl Cabins for their clients...we have 4 of them set in place around the ranch and several have already been booked! 

 What a nice collaboration...a gorgeous, top notch ranch featuring equine trails, obstacle course, arenas and stunning views of Smith Rock State Park (oh, the trails!!) and our vintage travel trailers all decked out in cowgirl chic with bits of  western history tucked into each.

Just stunning views right from the ranch...early evening light as a storm begins to build in the distance.

THE ROSE OF CIMARRON MAKES HER DEBUT

Making her debut at the NFQHA Western regional and Open Show on April 27th...The Rose of Cimarron was sporting her new and very bright yellow exterior paint.  We've added a tri-pod with castiron pot..ready for a camp fire and cookout!

Even her tanks are yellow...we love this paint job and thank our painter, Randy, for all his hard work!

Interior is finally finished!!  Cowgirl curtains, vintage linens and western decor throughout...lets go camping!

An Update As We Approach Our Open House On May 12th!

We've been taking some photos as we prepare for the open house on May 12th.  Here is the 'Pearl de Vere' exterior set up for camping.  We may paint her exterior pink rather than the existing red, but here she is right now:

She is not very large, but makes up for it in a roomy layout and beautiful, classy interior!

We Have A Winner!!

Congratulations go out to Linda Reinhart of Fall Creek, Oregon for winning our weekend getaway drawing!!  She, along with a friend, will have a weekend in one of our 'Cowgirl Cabins' at the beautiful Sky Hawk Ranch in Terrebonne.  She'll be able to bring her horse and enjoy the gorgeous trails Central Oregon and the ranch have to offer.
We had nearly 300 entrants, so way to go Linda!

NW Horse Show and Expo 2012!

We arrived at the NW Horse Fair and Expo in Albany..but it wasn't easy.  Our normal route over the mountains had just been closed due to an extreme snowfall and avalanches..so we detoured south and traveled over Willamette Pass.

Getting started seemed simple enough..until we knocked down the entire row of curtains laid out for our neighboring vendors!  You can't imagine how quickly two gals can re-park a trailer and restring a row of heavy curtains when no one is looking...

We had a great show...greeted several hundred people and had very positive feedback for our rental business.  We, along with Sky Hawk Ranch, sponsored a drawing for a weekend with this trailer at the ranch..we had almost 300 entries and will announce the winner soon.  Thanks to all who came by our 'booth' and for all the wonderful support as we get up and going.  Our website is also published and ready for bookings..you can view it at:

Cattle Kate...Modern 18 Ft. Pioneer Trailer Added To Our Fleet!

We absolutely love our vintage trailers!   But in order to appeal to the broadest market, we've added a lovely 18 ft. Pioneer trailer to our rental pool. 

She's filled with all the modern amenities...3 burner stove, microwave, fridge and freezer.  'Boondocking' with propane and no electricity is possible up to three days with two heavy-duty batteries.

 She's been redecorated in beautiful cowgirl chic...vintage spurs, bits, western artwork and new southwestern upholstery.
She has a separate bathroom with small tub/shower combo, queen, double and single or double bed in the settee area.  Sleeps up to 5 comfortably.
